Racing will be governed by:
2.1-The Rules as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing
2.3-The CSA rules and Multihull Ratings Rules.
2.4-RRS 55 Trash Disposal is changed by addition of a second sentence.
2.5- The RSS 52 will not apply
2.6- All boats shall have onboard the safety equipment required
for the area of costal sailing, and LVDSBH Minimum Safety
Requirement,(for Multihull classes only, LVDSBH Minimum Safety Requirement #2 with respect to lifelines shall not apply
2.7- The French version of the text shall prevail over the English one.
Boats may be required to display advertising provided by the organizing authority as permitted by World Sailing Regulation 20.
4.1- The Voiles de Saint Barth invite the following boats :
– Maxi-yachts, Mini-Maxi yachts, TP 52, CSA Racings monohulls to race under CSA rules > 0,800.
– CSA Racings multihulls under CSA Multihull rules > 1,000.
– Melges 24
4.2- After consideration of the number of boat entries, the
Organizing Committee reserves the right to modify the classes or add classes.
5- REGISTRATION and INSURANCE
5.1- At the moment of the registration the representative of each boat shall present following documents:
– Entry form
– Disclaimer form
– Rating Certificate
– Complete crew list
-Each boat entered must have an insurance certificate for the regatta valid for the duration of the event. (FR-ENG)
5.3- Crew Insurance
-All French crewmembers must show their 2017 FFV license with medical approval.18’s crewmembers must provide a written authorization from their parents.
-The proof for the foreign crews that they are in compliance with
their National Authority
-All foreign crewmembers must provide a third part liability
-They have to be registered with their name, surname, date of birth and nationality.
-FFV temporary licenses will be accepted during the event.

Sailing Instructions will be those distributed in the registration package.
Competitors participate in the regatta entirely at their own risk. Decision to race or to continue racing is their own responsibility. The organizing authority will not accept any liability for material damage or personal
injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to, during or after the regatta.
All boats shall carry a VHF radio with channels 72, 12 and 16.
Except in an emergency, a boat shall neither make radio transmissions
while racing nor receive radio communications not available to all boats.
This restriction also applies to mobile phones.
The courses will be described in Sailing Instructions.
The prize giving will take place on Saturday, April 15th. At least a prize will be given to three first ones of every class
Competitors grant the Organizing Authority, the unrestricted right and permission to use the name and the image for any text, photograph or video footage of either themselves or the boat they are sailing during the event to be published or broadcast in any media whatsoever (including but not limited to Press and TV advertisements or Internet), for either
editorial or advertising purposes or to be used in press information; in this respect, competitors’ names and any biographical material of themselves may also be used or reproduced in any way known. As part of the registration process, each individual participating crewmember will be required to sign a declaration accepting this waiver of rights.
