The Race Village
A Race Village On The Quai General de Gaulle and A VIP Venue At Météo Caraîbes.
"Les Voiles de St. Barth" has selected two primary venues for its activities and to welcome its guests.
The Quai General de Gaulle in the heart of Gustavia has long been one of the economic centers of the island, from the days of sailing schooners that unloaded essential cargo, from food for the population to construction materials that allowed Saint-Barthélemy to develop as a tourist destination.
This dock hosts many traditional celebrations, from Bastille Day on July 14 to New Year’s Eve on December 31, and is often where sailors from transatlantic races step onto terra firma.
From April 4-9, 2011, the dock will be transformed into the race village for “Les Voiles de St. Barth," with numerous activities every evening, from restaurant tastings and a rum stand to various musical performances, a photography exhibit, and arts and crafts.

These two venues dedicated to “Les Voiles de St. Barth" will demonstrate the high quality and charm with which Saint Barth receives its guests.
