1 -ORGANISING AUTHORITY
«Les Voiles de Saint Barth», organized by the St Barth Yacht Club, will take place from 4 to 9 of April 2011 on the island of Saint Barthélémy.

2-RULES
Racing will be governed by :
■The ISAF rules of sailing. 2009-2012
■The regulations of The French Federation of sailing
■The CSA rules
■The Multi 2000
■This notice of race
■The sailing instructions.
■Environnemental rule: None of the boats are allowed to throw any waste on water. Penalty willbe applied in case of deviation.
■If there is a conflict between languages the Frenchtext will prevail.

3-ADVERTISINGbr> The event will be Category “C” as specified in the RRS(2009-2012). Boats may be required to display adverti-sing provided by the organizing authority as permittedby ISAF Regulation 20.3. (d)(i).

4-ELIGIBILITY
■Super / Maxi Yacht
■Classic
■Racing
■Racing - Cruising
■Racing - Multihull
According to the number of participation each class will be divided into groups of as similar boats aspossible.

5-FEES
30-60 feet 8 € per foot .60-100 feet 10 € per foot . After you have posted your inscription you should send the payment by PayPal proposed on the website or contact us by email or phone to make other arrangements.

6-SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
Sailing Instructions will be provided in each Registration Package distributed at the registration.Additional sailing instructions will available on the page: Sailing Instructions

7-DISCLAIMER
Competitors agree to be bound by the International Sailing Federation Racing Rules of Sailing (RRS)2009/2012, by the Sailing Instructions and the Notice of Race. Competitors agree to take any and all responsibility for the nautical qualities of their boat, the rigging, the crew's ability and the safety equipment.Competitors also agree to take any and all responsibility for damages caused to third persons or their belongings, to themselves or to their belongings, a shore andat sea as a consequence of their participation in the regatta, relieving of any responsibility, the Saint Barth Yacht Club and all persons or sponsors involved in the organization under whatever qualification and to accept full responsibility for the behaviour and dress ofthe boat's crew, representatives and guests.Competitors are to be acquainted with ISAF RRS Part1 Fundamental .Rule 4: “The responsibility for a boat's decision to participate in a race or to continue racing is hers alone”. In any case, competitors agree that the Saint Barth Yacht Club, the sponsors and their agents,have no responsibility for loss of life or injury to members or others, or for the loss or damage to any vessel or property.As part of the registration process, each individual participating crewmember will be required to sign adeclaration accepting this disclaimer of liability.

8-REGISTRATION
At the moment of the registration the representant of each boat shall present following documents,
■Valid FFV Licence with medical approval for French crewmembers
■The proof for the foreign crews, that they are in compliance with their National Authority
■Each participating boat shall be insured with valid thirdparty liability insurance with a minimum coverof 1,6 M € per event or the equivalent.

9-RADIO COMMUNICATION
All competing boats shall carry a VHF radio capable ofreceiving communications from the Race Committee and port Authority on channels 72, 12 and 16.

10-THE COURSES
Examples of courses can be seen on the website and in the Regatta Programme. No course should be morethan 4 hours. Starts and finishes are immediately outside of Gustavia.

11-SCORING
The Low Point System rule A4 from ISAF will apply.

12-PENALTY SYSTEMS and PROTESTS
44.2 is changed such that the penalty shall be one turn including one tack and one gybe that in allother respects comply with rule 44.2.

13-PRIZES
list of prizes and/or trophies to be awarded will begiven in the Sailing Instructions and will also be available on the page: Sailing Instructions

14-MEDIA RIGHTS
Competitors grant the Organizing Authority, the unrestricted right and permission to use the name and the image for any text, photograph or video footageo f either themselves or the boat they are sailing during the event to be published or broadcast in any media whatsoever (including but not limited to Press and TV advertisements or Internet), for either editorial or advertising purposes or to be used in press information; in this respect, competitors' names and any biographical material of themselves may also be usedor reproduced in any way known. As part of the registration process, each individual participating crewmember will be required to sign a declaration accepting this waiver of rights.
